Golf: 

• Cougar Creek Golf Course: Cougar Creek Golf Resort is a championship length golf course that winds through the natural setting. The course was designed to make the most of the beautiful treed and rolling terrain.
• Grouse Nest Golf Course: A nine-hole golf course with a difference! With separate blue, white and red tee boxes on each hole placed at different angles, the golfer can play 18 holes – choosing a different tee box for the back nine – thus gaining an entirely different perspective on the course.

Fishing:  

• Jackfish Lake has a thriving sport fishing community populated with Northern Pike, Walleye, and Yellow Perch. There are a myriad of smaller lakes within driving distance that are great for fishing: Star Lake, Mayatan Lake, Johnnys Lake, Mink Lake, Hasse Lake and Spring Lake are all great spots to fish year round. Swimming and Boating: 

• Ample opportunities for a wide variety of water-based sports including water-skiing, windsurfing, swimming, and sailing exist. There is a day use area on the lake that allows for boating but it is limited.  Lots of opportunities kayak or paddle board on the smaller lakes in the area as well

Winter Activities: 

• Jackfish Lake is a winter paradise with opportunities to fish, quad and snowmobile.

Wabamun: 

• The Hamlet of Wabamun has many amenities including a grocery store, pharmacy, hardware store, restaurant's, convenience stores, liquor stores, and gasoline.

Beach Corner: 

• Features gasoline, convenience store, restaurant and liquor store.

Stony Plain: 

• All services including a Hospital
