1. Pineridge Golf Resort: Nestled on the scenic west end of Lake Wabamun, the Pineridge Golf Course has been a beloved fixture of the local community since its establishment in 1972. One of the most distinguishing features of Pineridge is its status as Alberta's first 12-hole golf facility, boasting picturesque views of Lake Wabamun that inspire golfers of all skill levels.
2. Cougar Creek Golf Course: Cougar Creek Golf Resort is a championship length golf course that winds through the natural setting. The course was designed to make the most of the beautiful treed and rolling terrain.

Fishing: 

1. Wabamun has a thriving sport fish community of Northern Pike, Lake Whitefish Yellow Perch, and Walleye. not to mention ample forage-fish populations of minnows, young game fish, and aquatic insects and other invertebrates. Many anglers seek trophy northern pike on Wabamun Lake.. More fishing info is available here

Swimming and Boating: 

1. Ample opportunities for a wide variety of water-based sports including water-skiing, windsurfing, swimming, and sailing exist. Large boats may be launched in Wabamun (north side) and Sundance (south side) boat launches. Lots of opportunities exist to sail on this lake with numerous sailing clubs located around the lake.

Winter Activities: 

1. Lake Wabamun is a winter paradise with opportunities to fish, quad and snowmobile.

1. Wabamun Provincial Park
2. Wabamun Waterfront Park
3. Sundance Boat Launch & Recreation Area

Wabamun: 

1. The Hamlet of Wabamun has many amenities including a grocery store, pharmacy, hardware store, restaurant's, convenience stores, liquor stores, and gasoline.

Mini Mall:

1. Located east of the Lake on RR44 this roadside turnout features a Shell convenience store, a Burger King, KFC, and Tim Hortons

Seba Beach: 

1. Seba Beach is located in the west end of the Lake and has a general store with groceries and liquor.

Wabamun Hotel Restaurant:

1. Featuring a Western and Chinese menu this family run business serves the restaurant and bar, Great for Dine In or Pickup.

Yellow Submarine:  

1. Always fast, fresh and friendly! Great quality food, with real ingredients, that is always my go to on my occasional night off from cooking! Serious bang for your buck! Best place for Ice Cream!

Jingles: 

1. Really a great “small town gem”. This cute little spot serves simple and predictable comfort food; just what you want for breakfast! The owners are super nice and the staff make a real effort to make you feel welcome; small town feel.

RV Pub & Grill: 

1. Serving made from scratch Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Also an amazing ice cream bar, pizza, fresh house made donuts and desserts.

Los Toritos:

1. Amazing Mexican food. Food was stellar with reasonable pricing for the high quality food. If you’re travelling down hwy 16 make the detour! What a hidden gem!

Seba Beach Regatta:  

1. August long weekend Regatta - Includes land and water events, fireworks, dances and many other events.

Wabamun Summer Festival: 

1. Annual Event in August featuring Family Outdoor Music Festival, Beer Garden & Concession, Vender Market & Silent Auction, and Children's Activities. For more information check it out here

Wabamun Main Street Art Walk: 

1. An opportunity for artists to showcase their work during festivals in the Hamlet of Wabamun.

Wabamun School is in the heart of a family community, and there is a strong bond between the school and the community it serves. That sense of family is reflected in the learning environment, where students feel at home.  Wabamun School serves from Kindergarten to Grade 9.  High School Students are transported to Stony Memorial Composite High School.
