Fishing: The main fish species in the lake are pike and perch. There is a day use area and boat launch. Blue-green algae often cuts oxygen levels in the lake by midsummer. More fishing info is available here
Swimming and Boating: Lessard Lake Campground Beach has some great boating and fishing opportunities which are accessible by docks and a main boat launch near the campground. The campground doesn't have a sandy beach, but the water is often clean enough for swimming.
Winter Activities: Lessard Lake is a winter paradise with opportunities to fish, quad and snowmobile. The Alberta Beach Snowmobile Club grooms and runs a trail system in the area.
Lessard Lake Outdoor Education Center: Close to the Lessard Lake Public Campground, this popular seasonal facility features a main lodge with a spacious, appliance-filled kitchen, and comes complete with chairs, tables, and a loft area overlooking the stone fireplace on the main floor.
